C.A.O.F. needs your help. We are
currently funded entirely through the state-funded Aid to Families with Dependent Children (AFDC) program. We
have done remarkable work with limited resources. However, in order to continue to provide the high-quality services
already offered, to attract and keep highly trained professionals, and to expand our services to the community to
include cultural diversity, arts, recreation and other programs and services, we must raise $10 million. Government
funding simply cannot provide the resources necessary to continue and expand this great work. In economically
uncertain times, critical choices must be made.
We as a society must decide what is important. Investing early in our children can prevent a myriad of social ills
down the line, and provides us with a sense of purpose and accomplishments. Amid these vast uncertainties, one
concept remains clear: Children Are Our Future.
